Which blog? You can add this site in your RSS reader, so you can read the news, but you will have to register with our site and then read the FAQ section.

1911 - A1 Serial # Prefix Question
I am looking at a 1911 represented as having started out as a 1911-A1 before having had a Kart .22 Conversion Kit fixed to it. The serial number begins with an "R" which I have not found in any reference material as having been used by Colt or the War Contractors. So can any body help me on this? There are no other frame markings that I can make out. The serial number is clear & deep though. ~ Thanks.

If you can't see the "For Sale (guns)" forum content, it means you should be a member. Can't remember how these forums are set up right now.

firearm sales forum
Do you have to be a member to view the firearms sales forum. I understand one has to respond to the posts, but I just wanted to view what is for sale at this time and gain some knowledge about some of the firearms; SA higher tier ones in particular. I'm a mod over at Calguns if that helps, I'm not a scammer.

Thanks for your time.

I really liked it. But not bad, it would be to add a few important sections.

Find a link saying "Register" in the blue line above the Sponsors Panel. Follow that link, read the Rules (do read them please) and enter a name with which we'll know you here and a password. It's self-explanatory after you go there.
